We completed one of our biggest jobs ever at Gainsville Inland Port, a 104-acre facility in Hall County that connects Northeast GA directly to the Port of Savannah via rail service.
Designed to accommodate up to 200,000 containers annually, the Inland Port supports regional manufacturers across industries including poultry, forest products, and heavy equipment. By shifting freight from highways to rail, the facility will reduce the need for long-haul trucking and remove thousands of truck trips from regional roads.
Scopes on this massive, but exciting project included a variety of paint and thermoplastic striping services along with the installation of signs, wheelstops, and over 2,300 amber reflectors.
For paint striping, this included:
✅ Approximately 41,661 LF of 5” white, 12,668 LF of 5” skip, 79,067 LF of 4” yellow, 8,881 LF of 5” yellow, and 9,843 LF of 24” white.
✅ 272 large container bays
✅ 134 single lane grids, stop bars, stenciled words, arrows, and hundreds of 24” letters and digits.
We also painted over 1100 10’ jersey barriers, multiple steel ties, bollards, gate arm and card reader bases solid yellow.
The thermoplastic scope included several hundred yards of white and yellow hatching, (8) sets of rumble strips and specialty numbering and letters for the drive lanes.
As one of our largest jobs to date, we were honored to help transform this important port that will help expand access and improving efficiency for global businesses right here in Georgia.
