What is MMA?
In recent years, MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) has emerged as a leading option for road marking construction and repair projects due to its durability, long lifespan, and high degree of visibility in unfavorable weather conditions. Additionally, one of the biggest advantages of MMA is how quickly it cures (often in under 30 minutes), helping crews reopen roads faster and keep traffic disruptions to a minimum. Because MMA is mixed onsite and does not require a primer or topcoat, it’s rolled or sprayed and cured in the sun in a short amount of time.

The crosswalk above was completed in 2 phases with traffic control. We were able to reopen the closed lanes just a few minutes after we completed each section. After the second section cured, we pulled up the tape, grabbed our cones, and allowed traffic control to safely reopen the busy road!
