2025 in review: Our most impactful jobs of the year

This year at Big Apple Services was a big one full of a range of exciting projects, both large and small. From neighborhood crosswalks to major airport improvements, we’re proud to have contributed to meaningful infrastructure upgrades throughout our community and the greater Atlanta Metro area. While every project holds its own importance, we’ve highlighted a select few that we believe made the greatest impact.

  1. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Working at one of the busiest airports in the world, our top priorities at Hartsfield-Jackson were maintaining safety and improving the overall efficiency of traveler movement. The project included the installation of 20,000 linear feet of preformed thermoplastic, red and yellow striping, stencils, hatching, and 100 delineators, as well as contributions to the new rideshare pick-up and drop-off area at the North Terminal.

It was an honor to support this impactful project at Hartsfield-Jackson. Big Apple Services consistently strives to deliver superior craftsmanship and trusted service across projects of all sizes.

2. North Paulding - Dallas, GA

Earlier this year, our team completed a large-scale sealcoating and striping project for North Paulding in Dallas, GA, helping ensure the campus was ready for the new school year.

The scope of work included sealcoating and restriping more than 50,000 square yards and 495,000 square feet of parking areas, along with striping over 1,200 parking spaces, each clearly marked with digit stenciling. We also striped the practice football field to support the school’s band program as they prepared for the season.

We love having the opportunity to support local schools by updating spaces that enhance safety and functionality for students, staff, and visitors.

3. Dublin Shopping Center - Dublin, GA

Our team began the project by milling and paving 12 areas totaling 3,000 square yards to address necessary repairs. From there, we sealed the entire 63,500-square-yard parking lot using our trusted Star-Triton sealcoat from Hercules Sealcoat Manufacturing.

To complete the makeover, we restriped more than 35,000 linear feet of parking spaces, added 58 directional arrows, applied 4,500 linear feet of yellow hatching, and refreshed crosswalks and speed bumps. All ADA-compliant parking spaces and access aisles were also clearly marked, ensuring improved safety, accessibility, and traffic flow throughout the property.

4. Industrial Paving - Covington, GA

Despite an unusually rainy stretch this year, our crews were able to make steady progress on our projects! Earlier this year, we completed a parking lot repair project for a company in Covington, where we’ve milled and paved approximately 7,660 square yards of aging, deteriorated asphalt.

The scope of work included milling four inches of existing pavement and repaving with a two-inch binder course and a two-inch surface course, resulting in a smooth, durable finish. Up next, our team will stripe more than 200 parking spaces and supply and install 36 replacement wheel stops.

It’s been an honor to serve our community throughout the year! Our teams worked diligently on every project, delivering results on time and to the highest standards of quality. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to continue our work and make an even greater impact in the year to come.
